A fantastically useful plugin. For the first time I now have a tool that identifies the frequency bands of specific resonances and suggests fixes to them which you can modify.

Love this tool! It was the last piece I was missing. I could get out energetic mixes that sound pro but always had inaudible frequencies getting bumped up through the exciter that would put pressure on my ears. This tool instantly takes it away and does so in a dynamic way to where it is transparent. Awesome!

RESO is great! The best plugin I ever used to remove harshness from your audio. I've been doing music for decades & this plugin is awesome! I look forward to purchasing more plugins from masteringthemix.com. Creatives really need to try there products! :)

A pleasant surprise, I'm new to "Mastering the Mix" and ended up buying just about everything. These plugins are quite nuanced rather than over the top like many from other companies. These products can be subtle which makes them very useful for my purposes. Highly professional sound enhancement.

As with all MTM plugins, this is pretty easy to use and very effective when used carefully. I suppose the next step would to make it adapt as the music developed but for now it works fine, especially on individual tracks or elements.

No one wants rogue frequencies or harsh resonances in their songs. (Although at times and certain circumstances they do play a vital role in the overall "sound" you are going for...). Having said this, I own other Mastering the Mix plugins and have literally JUST bought RESO and immediately utilized it on a song with multiple acoustic and electric guitar tracks. Not that I needed to use it in a heavy handed manner....but WOW!!! The marginal settings that I utilized just "cleared the lanes". Opened the song right up and let it breathe a little more by removing some of the unwanted resonances, thus a little more clarity! Great production plugin .... not to mention the TIME you save!! Very easy and fast to work with. Great Job! ....and NO I didn't get paid for this ....and YES I am a REAL PERSON!!! haha... Cheers

Great plug-in for surgical fixes to specific types of resonance issues that are difficult to address with other resonance management tools. Simple to auto-analyze audio or manually scan to find each issue, then simply pull down to reduce. Brilliant.

Reso works very well in identifying specific resonant nuisances and gives you great control to reduce the effects without affecting the overall soundscape and imaging. It works excellently well in conjunction with more broad stroke treatments.

All those small, sometimes inaudible things stack up and make a big problem, this takes them away and gives a much nicer listening experience. Was after this one for a while, now I have it, I'm not disappointed.

I work daily with independent artists and filmmakers whose projects are often recorded in less-than-ideal spaces, with modest gear and no access to pristine studios. As a result, nearly every session I open is full of resonance issues—drum tracks plagued by unpleasant room nodes, DI’d guitars spiking through amp sims, or dialogue captured on resonant lav mics.

The sonic results are outstanding. Cuts feel natural and transparent, without the harshness or “ringing” side-effects that high-Q notches on conventional EQs can leave behind. The ability to deploy so many nodes in a single instance is a lifesaver; with standard EQs I often had to chain multiple plugins, but Reso handles even extreme cases effortlessly.

And the time it saves? Immense. What once took me 10-15 minutes per track is now done in 2-3 minutes, freeing up precious time for me to focus on creativity instead of technical firefighting.

For anyone tempted to compare it directly with Soothe 2—don’t. They’re designed for completely different use cases, and both deserve a spot in the modern engineer’s toolkit.

In short: Reso delivers on a need I’ve had for decades. It’s transparent, efficient, intelligently designed, and genuinely indispensable. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. Bravo to MasterTheMix for creating one of the most genuinely useful plugins in years.

I had some resonances in certain mix ranges that I couldn't pinpoint directly, so I had to search track by track for the frequency that was causing the problem. I tried RESO out of curiosity to see how effective it was, and you know what? Now I can't do without it. This plugin helps you locate resonance points in seconds, and you can also modify them as you wish. It's also a very useful tool for mastering. Honestly, well done to MTM!

I had a deadline and needed to master quickly here in the studio... works very well in real time (if you have enough memory in your Mac). Amazing results, very finely adjustable and approved for production ( Libreville Productions ) Paris.

I passed on this when I first saw it thinking it was just another form of compression or something, but when a deal came up again I decided...hell why not. Good call. This is an amazing mix tool and a must for clean detailed mixes. Ultra simple to use and instantly noticeable this badboy changed the way I mix. Top. Shelf.

I'm working my way through the full bundle, evaluating RESO after using Bass Room yesterday. I don't know that I can overstate my joy at having a tool that allows me to quickly identify and fix the harsh frequencies that build up in my mixes as I'm working. Between Bass Room and RESO I was able to find and fix issues on a complex mix in minutes rather than hours. If any of the other plugins work this well, I'll be buying the bunch - a first from me with any plugin creator.
