I downloaded the trial to give it a shot on a remix I’m currently doing of a very high profile artist on which my mastering chain currently had around 8 plugins, I loaded up Faster Master and expected the usual artist collabs with manufacturer hype… In under 1 minute the hairs were up on the back of my neck! I seriously could not believe my ears! The only plugin on my chain was Faster Master. The next minute I was exporting my final masters.

After watching the video by David Guetta and Nicky Romeo, I had my doubts about this ‘easy’ plugin, but out of curiosity I tried the free version. I was amazed after analysing the mix. I couldn't believe the quality of the mastering, the dynamics and, above all, the volume bypass, which prevents you from making bad decisions due to volume differences after mastering. This should be standard for all plugins. After analysis, it offers 10 presets for your mix. You can fine-tune the settings to your liking, and some functions can be locked without affecting your mix, even after re-analysis. I admit that I can no longer do without it for my mixing and mastering. It's GREAT!
