While I’ve played around with the other plugins the range (Bassroom is fine, but needs a tweak; Levels is ridiculously useful!) this feels a bit special. Even seasoned pros (25 year producer here) know what a black art EQing can be; especially when mastering.
That is because when mastering your own stuff, anything that can go wrong, often does go wrong. FM gives you those all important EQ nodes that you can tweak (as well as adjust the overall intensity of the effect) and - here is the important part - doesn’t let you futz around with the actual placement of the nodes. Essentially you end up using your eyes and your ears (which is the way it’s supposed to be), and while the other parameters are perfectly usable, it is the EQ, and the ability to quickly audition presets (akin to trying out a mix on different systems) that makes it a must have, even for someone with a shit ton of processors at their disposal.
I hope Tom keeps this baby growing and glowing, because it can only get better. Kudos on cramming so many parameters into that little window. Great GUI. Maybe the other sections could use some additional parameters?
Frankly, this does more than quite a few of those all in one boxes. Again, it’s that EQ that’s the secret weapon: to me, it’s a lot more practical and user friendly (not to mention fun) than something like Smart EQ. Remember kids, it’s not compression that will get you that ‘sounds like a record’ sound; it’s EQ - especially that 150-350hz range. Get that tight, and a nice open top end, and you have yourself a mix. A well balanced uncompressed mix will still sound good; a badly EQd or harsh, boomy mix will sound like arse no matter what you do. Learn your EQ!
This will get you there. While some of the other plugins in the range are a bit ‘snack foody’ (and this sounds like it might be too), make no mistake - this is a serious tool for a great price. Frankly, for those of us who’ve used something like a Finalizer; this makes you wonder how we ever got anything done.

i used this plug in for the first time this week as Inwas struggling with mastering and finalizing my mixes. I’ve been doing a lot of guess work in the past and although i’ve been close these plug ins have taken me to the next level! Between the Levels plug in for testing the mix followed by faster master to master the bounce down then into Expose App to check the master this was a dream and my first mix out of this system was given a massive thumbs up for my production from the dj promo that was sent out! “The production on the radio edit is immaculate. It is easy to use and compare mixing styles to create the perfect sounding master. I use it along with all of my Master the Mix plug-ins and love each one for their brilliant simplicity and sound improvements.
FasterMaster is so easy to use and the results are fantastic. It won't fix a poor mix, but if you're sending a well-balanced mix to the mastering chain, with FM at the end, I'd say it gets you 80% to a great sounding master, saving lots of time and getting better results than I've certainly ever achieved. The choice of presets and flexible EQ, LUFS and limiting gets you to 100% and a release- ready master. You'll still need to use your ears and apply your preferences. Will definitely be checking other MTM plug-ins.

I get Kickstart nostalgia, when first using Kickstart it was an eyeopener like wow this just get's me where I wanna go with a Click! With Faster Master I have the same, I uploaded a bunch of my mastered tracks and it works instantly, learns the EQ perfectly and am enjoying it a lot! Big ups to the team that developed this plugin!
I love how quick and effortless this works! The smart templates are awesome, and there are plenty more options to try with just enough adjustable parameters to make mastering as simple as can be!

When the plugin had scanned the signal and gave a good result. The level keeps the same when you want to listen to A,-B comparisment. Bypassed keeps the level from the master result.
Just starting to use this plugin, but in quick comparisons with other all-in mastering plugins or high quality limiters, I really liked what I heard from Faster Master.
it's easy to use you can have rapid result in 1 click, and you can do it again and again if you don't like the result or you can just twick some knob to accomplish your favourite result.

I am an amatuer mixer/producer, but have been around the block and have used professional as well as online automated masterers and this beats it all! I just started using it and I have a lot to still learn, but I can tell how much more user friendly this is going to be for me!

A pleasant surprise, I'm new to "Mastering the Mix" and ended up buying just about everything. These plugins are quite nuanced rather than over the top like many from other companies. These products can be subtle which makes them very useful for my purposes. Highly professional sound enhancement.
So... I put it on a song in FL Studio...
And then another song...
It was different! Different presets, and everything custom. I started to get lost in how many different ways I could have the song sound. I can quickly get it to my taste for a almost signature style and still have a Universal Master Sound.
The Faster Master works very well. I mastered a lot of my dubstep and electronic tracks with it already, instantly giving the clarity they needed.
It easily and seamlessly create great sounding masters!
