FUSER Quickstart

Identify the two channels that are clashing, then load FUSER as the final plugin on the channel you want to duck (the submissive channel).

Set the plugin wrapper’s sidechain input to the dominant channel.

For example, if your kick and bass are clashing, place FUSER on the bass and sidechain the kick.

Works like a charm

I am a big fan of the Mastering the Mix tools, and use Bassroom, Mixroom, and Expose on most of my mixes and masters. Fuser has helped in ways I was not expecting, cleaning up the mixes and bringing drums and vocal through a crowded mix. I know that I have other tools that might do this, but when I tried Fuser, it was so simple to use and gave instant clarity. I am still learning how to best use it, but even if you do nothing more than sidechain the conflicting track and hit "Resolve Conflicts" you will be pleasantly surprised. I'm excited to keep playing with it.

This plugin has exceptionally solved the phase issue between the bass and kick drum, a true nightmare for every producer. With a simple and intuitive interface, it allowed me to align the two sounds with surgical precision in just a few moments.

One of my favourite plugins today

I couldn't define the conflicting frequency ranges, and my mix was muddy despite using a side chain plugin. The Fuser and RESO are a must have combination for both mastering and mixing. As a bedroom producer, I struggled to find unwanted frequencies in my music, however Fuser is my saving grace. My mixes opened up and started to sound more cohesive overall. I love it. Next, I started using RESO for my vocal mixes and it quickly found problems frequencies.
